    DISCLAIMER:

The December 8th exercise workshop is organized by CPAC and hosted at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg EOC. We are intentionally keeping our costs as low as possible. This is made possible by Phil Lambert of Lambert Learning who will be facilitating the workshop, and by the EOC leadership who have graciously agreed to offer their facility for this event.

Please be aware: Given that the Charlotte-Mecklenburg EOC is required to dedicate this space to emergencies, it is possible that the class may need to be postponed with short notice if there is an incident that warrants emergency use of the EOC.  If this occurs, CPAC will:

    • Not refund your registration fee.

    • Work with Lambert Learning to arrange a virtual event within a couple of months after the holidays.

    • Donate the workshop meals purchased to a local homeless shelter.

    • Apply the membership portion of your registration fee (if you registered as a non-member) to 2023 CPAC membership.

    • Send printed materials to registrants who request them. (A link to download workshop materials will also be provided to registrants.)

Event photography will occur throughout the session. Attendance recognizes and authorizes use of any pictures in which you may appear for both public and commercial purposes by CPAC, Lambert Learning, and Char/Meck Fire/EOC. Please notify any CPAC Board member in attendance on the day of the event if you would like to try to refrain from photos taken, but sponsors cannot guarantee complete avoidance.

Note: If the day prior or morning of the workshop you are feeling unwell or have tested positive for COVID, please do not attend the event. Refunds cannot be given but CPAC will provide materials and membership as noted above.   CPAC will follow state and local health requirements for group gatherings.
